Synopsis: This dramatic play, The Political Chess King, focuses on the tensions and power dynamics between a number of student leaders at the Saeed School of Business (SSB). Towering above the others is the figure of the Black King, Umar Kapadia, the powerful founder and head of the SSB student political party Jazba, who is as magnificent as he is Machiavellian. Regardless of his rivals' persistent treachery, the influential Umar continues to dominate the gritty and complex terrain that constitutes the political chessboard of this highly elite business school. Yet, in spite of his considerable power, Kapadia eventually realizes that even the most successful of men are at the mercy of a force that is far greater than politics-fate.
