These three interactive storybooks, featuring popular Sesame Street characters, are designed for use in the My First Story Reader console (sold separately). My First Story Reader uses two distinct play options that teach the first steps to reading, sound identification, matching, shapes, and colors.
In the “Read to Me Mode,” just turn the pages to hear a friendly narrator. Fun sounds and lively music make the story come to life, and the last page of each book features a beloved children’s song. In “Activity Mode,” your child can press the three big buttons to answer simple questions about colors, shapes, and more.
The 3-Book Sesame Street Library: Snack Day; Silly Sounds; Be Happy storybooks are spiral-bound and made of sturdy board pages that hold up to rough handling. A quick synopsis of this collection:
- In Snack Day, Cookie Monster and Elmo discover yummy snacks like cherries, berries, apples, and bananas. They sing “If You’re Hungry and You Know It, Have a Snack.”
- Be Happy shows how Elmo cheers up his friends Bert, Ernie, Zoe, and Oscar when they are down.
- In Silly Sounds, your child can join the silliness as Elmo hears toy sounds, Big Bird’s thumping feet, a rocket blast, and more.
