The research over the Latif contains more than one century, during the period the scholars from the world wide has discovered and discussed the different aspects of the poetry of Lateef sain. This book titled, "Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai" is also from the earlier study done over the great poet. This book was first published in 1922. It means the book has the history of the hundred years. This book is rare now a days. Mr Gidvani is well known writer of Sindh and member Sindh historical society Karachi. He has written many papers about history of Sindh. Motumal Mangharatn Gidvani was born at Hyderabad, in 1888, Motumal was Joined D.J. College, Karachi, in 1907–08, in that collage he joined as a M.A.,Schoolmaster, then he has been worked as Assistant to the Professor of English, Elphinstone College, Bombay, and took a diploma in Teaching at London. As well as Motumal Mangharatn Gidvani has been worked as Principal, D.G. Sind National College, Hyderabad in 1927. Motumal Mangharatn Gidvani was died in 1930 due to brain disease.
