The book under review examines the first thirty years of the Constitution of Pakistan and how military governments and the judiciary continued to influence the Islamic provisions of the Constitution. Critical review of some court decisions based on constitutional issues is one of the topics covered in the book. This book contains a critical review of judicial decisions in the light of the jurisprudential repertoire of interpretation texts. On the other hand, with the help of the Western interpretation of Statutes of the modern legal world, the same judicial approach is fully discussed. The author examines the effects of the two military regimes on the constitutional provisions of this period and concludes that two different personal tendencies influenced the constitution according to their tendencies. A brief introduction to the twenty-six constitutional amendments that have been written so far is also mentioned in one chapter. Finally, the author outlines the future by comparing the military style with the parliamentary style of constitutional amendment.
