Gaining experience in day-to-day problems of patients, his next stride, was in the field of obesity. He started his obesity clinic in Mumbai in 1982, when there were very few ethical obesity clinics in city of Mumbai. A chance meeting with doctors from the city who spoke about use of computers in field of medicine in western countries, gave him the idea of introducing computer in active practice of obesity. He implemented this idea in 1984, thus becoming one of the first Indian allopaths to have a computerised clinic. His continuous search for the best obesity care and treatment for his patients allowed him to further advice and treat patients with heart ailments about their diet - lifestyle and prevention. Thus giving rise to his very own clinic of cardiac lifestyle care in 1995. Pioneering the use of comprehensive software for obesity and cardiac lifestyle over the last two decades, he has been able to influence the lives of innumerable patients with complete and positive health turnarounds. His first book, the balancing Act- A win over obesity, has been an attempt to aid an obesity therapist as well as a patient to understand and plan the right course to alleviate all health issues.
