This book is phenomenal. The story with all its characters is so well built. This book reflects the bitter aspects of our society accordingly. Once I started reading it, I just could not put it down. The author has done a brilliant job. if anyone is looking forward to read it , then do give it a read. It takes you to a journey of love, hate and bitter realities . For me this book is a must read. 1000/10. Truly cherished the book.

This book scared me, made me cry and made me regret picking it up as a read.
A read which is totally worth it.
It reveals the darker secrets of the society, which are so pleasantly kept up along with glitz and glamor, & all the stuff which is attracting to the eyes.
It perfectly portrays, how one part of community falls prey over the pleasures of the other part. From decieving reflections to screeching reality.it described all of it beautifully.
Rollercoaster of emotions but I am still happy that things didn't happen the way they seemed. Mona and Bilal didn't end up

Awais raised a number of societal problems in Mona’s story that I found profoundly factual and relatable Apart from authenticity, I really enjoyed the writing, the constructive way the plot progressed, the alternating POVs were absolutely helpful in getting a better insight into the matters at hand. Amidst all the good things, there were times when I felt the need of more details, like the reasons behind Mona’s frequent mood shifts or why she behaved the way she did at certain points was insufficient.

All in all, I thoroughly cherished reading this brilliant debut book by Awais. The exquisite story with a perfect ending, loved it to bits!
