A thrilling heist novel which had everything one could possibly need in a book for me. The diversity of the characters provided such a wave of fresh air. The novel is filled with twists and turns, keeping the reader on edge always. I was completely immersed in the world Bardugo created, her writing made me feel like I was in the world she created. The characters are complex, flawed and utterly compelling. Whether it was Kaz Brekker being the mastermind he is, or Inej scaling a wall flawlessly, the characters just complimented each other, acting as their family they didn't have. Loved it so much that it became my favorite book ever.

Her writing is soo good that you forget that you are reading and just get lost in the words. it has everything from badass female leads to intelligent and amazing male leads . if you are worried about reading this your sign to start the duology.

An amazing read! I don't know why I was procrastinating reading it so much. I live everything about this book - the writing, plot and the characters. I would like to appreciate the slow burn romance because it aligns perfectly with the rest of the storyline, Cant wait to read the next book and know what happens next.
