I recently finished reading "The Silent Patient”, I was drawn in from the very first page with the tragic tale of Alicia Berenson, a woman who attempts to take the life of her husband and later decides to stop talking. The dual telling kept me involved with the plot whenever I immersed in Theo's therapist's viewpoint in the novel, who in this case became an investigator.

Michaelides is able to make sure that both suspense and psychology are present in the book that makes every chapter a ‘twist.’ I think every reader comes and thinks that they know everything; it’s not the case with me. The twist is that not only shocking plot twists wowed the audience but even the final scene had a shocking ending. This was paired with how they detailed commonly heard about trauma and the elegant complexities of emotion which made the reader think for some moments even after the last scene was turned to “The Silent Patient” is a solid psychological thriller and I highly recommend it.

These was my first ever book with thriller genre, finished in one sitting and not gonna like it just blow my mind, Such a masterpiece after reading it I realised why there was such a hype about this, The plot twists oh my goodness.. never see it coming, I was full investment in this but still never able to guess the upcoming, that one line "And these was the first time I saw..." Changed my whole perspective. I don't know if anyone thought this or not but after seeing the Alicia life I was so glad to have the things I've right now, I'm think you'll also think this later on. If you want to know why Im saying all these read this I promise you're gonna fall in love with it, even if you're not a reader you'll definitely like it... So buy it and enjoy with a cup of coffee .☕

If you think that you know how the book ends... you're wrong. The suspense and build-up to the huge plot twist was amazing.
Definitely a page-turner that had me on the edge of a seat the entire time.
