This book contains a selection from the poems of Mir Ghulam Bhik Nairang (1876-1952), a poet politician, who apart from a natural lyrical cadence to his diction, had been involved in a number of political movements, beginning with the Civil Disobedience Movement (1918-1922) to the Pakistan Movement ( 1940-1947), his participation being fully reflected in his poetry. Ghulam Bhik Nairang was popular as a poet in his lifetime, and has seen many periods of revival. His complete works were published in 1983 by the same critic making this selection.
