Both main characters have been through trauma-he lost part of his arm and she lost her most recent lover in a climbing accident that she can't remember. I had a hard time getting into this book not a lot happening other than revisiting past traumas and the two main characters getting together again. This is the start of a series and the set ups for the future books look promising.
