This is a wonderful story of love by John Green. Making you the passenger of the roller-coasters of nostalgia & humor at the same time.

Hazel, a girl, is the cancer patient. Her life is all about striving through her ailment. But after meeting a guy named Augustus Waters, her life is completely changed. As you can say, "life will never be the same with & without you" is the epitome of this novel. It's no doubt a story of their love, but of their survival too.

John Green not only indulges the reader deep into lines by its story-telling, but also by giving them the specks of literary & poetic lines. A reader may get a little touch with the poetry of Shakespeare, T.S Eliot, Robert Frost, Emily Dickenson etc. Introducing you to the literary shreds.

In a nutshell, if you are seeking to read something which is about love, romance coupled with irony & plethora of heart-touching lines. Then this is the book is for you.

A young love story that doesn't have a happy ending. It is a good book of finding hope and love when diagnosed with a terminal disease. Of frienship and falling in love when all hope is lost. It's cliches at points but that could be overlooked because the smile it brings to readers is warm.

This book was a veritable ray of sunshine then. It's funny, sad, quirky-- a little gem of a book that pulls you in and breaks your heart as much as it gives you hope.

Some parts did make me gag (SO. MUCH. CHEESE.), others made me want to pull my hair out but as much as I wanted to hate this book, I couldn't. It's well written, well wrought and ultimately well worth your time and money. For full review, find me on Instagram, TheDoctorReads!

A heart-breaking and accurate representation of the trials that follow a terminal illness, and a beautiful show of love that left me in tears. I loved it.
