Pauline enjoys reading mystery and detective novels. She loves cats. Pauline was formerly foster mother to a gray-and-black tabby named Rhett Butler, but like most cats, he just didn’t give a damn.
Pauline has been a devoted “Windie” since the age of 16 when she first saw Gone With the Wind with her mother. The film’s 50th anniversary inspired Pauline to write The Complete GONE WITH THE WIND Trivia Book: The Movie and More. Pauline revised and updated the book for the film’s 75th anniversary in 2014, and the book remains a perennial fan favorite. Her latest book – Gone With the Wind: 1939 Day by Day – is a deeper dive into 1939, chronicling what was happening on and off the film’s set each day of the production year.
An award-winning writer, Pauline is the author of nine popular culture books. She is a member of the prestigious American Society of Journalists and Authors.
