As a former professor (psychology, world literatures, writing programs, film & media studies), admissions officer, and international secondary school director Professor Jake has advised thousands of students through every aspect of the academic process. He then perfected the process of helping people find their unique voice and most powerful stories as a political ghostwriter, writing workshop leader, and literary journal editor. He works full time as an educational consultant for an international organization that supports students preparing for highly competitive college admissions beginning in the 8th grade and going all the way through graduate school. In addition to college applications he also mentors independent research and writing projects, advises competitive secondary school and summer program essays and applications.
