Trigger is an altruistic, independent publisher devoted to opening up conversations about mental health and wellbeing.
Founder Adam Shaw, mental health advocate and philanthropist, started the company with clinical psychologist Lauren Callaghan, after recovering from serious mental health issues himself. Their aim was to publish books which provided advice and support to anyone suffering with mental illness by sharing uplifting and inspiring stories from real life survivors, combined with expert advice on practical recovery techniques.
Since then, Trigger has expanded to produce books on a wide range of topics surrounding mental health and wellness, as well as launching Upside Down Books, its children’s list, which encourages open conversation around mental health from a young age.
