Salim Ahmed is a Petroleum Industry professional having 40 years diversified experience of work, in Pakistan as well as abroad. He has excellent interpersonal skills and works with a wide variety of people.
His long association with OGDCL includes oil and gas exploration activities, technical services, coordination of Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) Projects, including Offshore seismic survey and drilling of PakCan-1 (offshore well). He was also part of OGDCL's operated and non-operated joint ventures activities. During his association with Chairman Secretariat, he worked as Special Assistant to Chairman (E&P) and Chief Staff Officer with additional assignment of Secretary Daily Coordination Meeting (DCM).
He has extensive experience in the development and delivery of training programs especially COMPETENCY and SKILL BASED. Skilled in identification of training needs, program design, appraisals and evaluation, he has become specialized through his training and corporate attachment with institutions and oil companies in Canada under (CIDA) assistance program.
