Dr Zahid Munir Amir is a renowned scholar, poet, critic, researcher and media expert. He has worked as Professor & Chairperson of Urdu & Pakistan Studies Chair, Faculty of Languages & Translations at Al-Azhar University Cairo, Egypt. He is founder of Zafar Ali Khan Chair in Institute of Communications Studies at University of the Punjab. Presently he is working as Professor of Urdu Language & Literature (BPS-21) at University Oriental College, University of the Punjab, Lahore.
