Chitrangada was a teacher, IT employee & TV host in a past that now seems like a distant, hazy dream. Her life changed when she embraced motherhood and began writing a new chapter. Ironically, she discovered writing fiction during that time (something she never saw coming and wishes she did). What began as a hobby consumed her waking hours. To an extent that she let go of lucrative offers of working in IT once again. Although she began her publishing journey with romantic fiction, she found her true calling in narrating crime fiction. Her aim is not to embellish a murder mystery with unnecessary drama and mindless thrill but to make it soulful and thought-provoking through her characters who have a rich inner world.
