Alexis Snell is a printmaker, illustrator and much to her surprise the author of an actual book. The Bear in the Stars is her first book, it's a tale about climate change, bears, stars, kindness and ice cream. The illustrations are hand carved and printed linocuts. When she is not carving, drawing, printing or writing she mainly hangs out in her garden with her small child.
