Stuart Hill is the author of the Icemark series of historical fantasy novels and winner of the inaugural Waterstone's Children's Book Prize. Published in 18 languages, Stuart visits many schools to talk about his background, his books and being a writer, as well as enthusing about history and learning. Stuart was born and brought up in Leicester where he lives with his partner and their two cats.
