Lee Price first realised he could write at the age of 14 when, full of mischief, he submitted a piece of coursework written from the perspective of a sperm cell - which was infinitely amusing to his teenage brain.
When it returned with a 100% mark on it - earning him an A* grade, and a raft of praise from his teachers - he had stumbled upon a calling.
His first - and most enduring - love was football, a sport still he obsesses over, like many British blokes. His thirst for the game is vast, and it dominates all of his other hobbies - whether it be his television consumption, choice of book to read, or genre of video game. He is hopelessly devoted.
Lee has enjoyed a successful journalism career, joining The Sun newspaper as a feature writer aged just 21, and was highly commended in the Young Journalist of the Year category at the 2013 Press Awards. His specialism for the paper has been sporting interviews - including pieces with Usain Bolt, Jonny Wilkinson, Eric Cantona, and Anthony Joshua.
