Qaiser Alam was born in 1953 in Karachi. His subjects of interest range from literature, philosophy, religion, history, culture and science. From 1991 to 1993, he published an international journal, Studies in Tradition, in which articles were published on topics such as religion, metaphysics, comparative studies of civilizations. From 2007 to 2008, he published another international journal, The Discourse International, with the main objective of East-West relations in the post-9/11 world.
