I have been practising as a Clinical Psychologist for more decades than I care to remember. My life as an author began in the early nineties with a book on the psychology of male friendship. Then subsequent to a rather unexpected major manic depressive episode, I wrote two books on depressive illness, with a focus on how loved ones can manage.
Then after a rather unexpected diagnosis of breast cancer and a subsequent double mastectomy, I wrote Breast Support. Providing women and their loved ones with a step by step guide through process from diagnosis through to treatment.
I established a blog as 'Doctor Know' and before too long the response from the globe's youth was moire than I could manage and from this came The Book of Knowing, a huge success. I then decided to write a book for adults dealing with worrisome overthinking. I am delighted to say they are wonderfully, easy and accessible books to read. That DO HELP!! More good news they are like reading an adult comic book.
Laugh to learn is my motto.
