Dr. Tughral Yamin retired as a brigadier from the Pakistan Army and subsequently pursued a career in academia. He is the founding member and associate dean of the Centre for International Peace and Stability at the National University of Sciences and Technology in Islamabad. He has been instrumental in initiating the doctoral and master’s degree programs in peace and conflict studies at the center. He is also a member of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan for framing the national curriculum for peace and conflict studies.
