Dr. Joseph Murphy was an Irish born, American author and a proponent of the New Thought movement. He acquired a PhD in psychology from the University of Southern California. He studied various philosophical and spiritual beliefs and travelled extensively. His interest in Asian religions brought him to India where he become a Fellow of the Andhra Research University of India. He went on to found his own church in Los Angeles which gave people a new way of looking at life. He has authored several books that have transformed people's lives.
